Newtown Police Log: 967 Calls in July; 2 Police Cars Sell For $10K

Read below for the Newtown Township Police Department's July police log and the sale of two police vehicles.

NEWTOWN SQUARE– Lt. Mike Savitski presented July's police log before the  Board of Supervisors and the public at a recent supervisors meeting on Aug. 13.

In addition to the police log, another update regarding the police department included the sale of two old police vehicles on Aug. 6. 

According to Township Manager Mike Trio, a 2004 For Crown Victoria was sold for $1,459 to a Pottstown man and a 2006 Chevrolet Impala Sedan was sold to a New Kensington man for $8,807.25.

Trio stated he was "more than pleased" with the price for the Impala Sedan. According to Trio, the vehicle was formerly used for the K-9 unit and had its share of "wear and tear."
