The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors swore in two new police officers and authorized the promotion of a third officer at Monday night's meeting.
New police officers Clinton Cunningham and Johnny Edelblute were officially welcomed to the Newtown Township Police Department by the supervisors and Newtown Police Chief Christopher Lunn.
Veteran Patrolman Daniel Dougherty was also officially promoted to the rank of sergeant on Monday.
