Pedestrian Killed In Vehicle Crash In Front of Wawa

Marple Township Police Department is investigating the incident involving a pedestrian, who was later pronounced dead at Bryn Mawr Hospital on March 6.

BROOMALL– released a statement on Tuesday night involving a vehicle crash and one pedestrian killed.

According to police, the crash occurred Tuesday night at 6:46 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Sproul Road in Broomall near the . An unidentified female was crossing Sproul Road when she was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on the road, said police. The female was pronounced dead at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

The victim is described as a white female, between 60 and 80 years of age. She was wearing dark clothing and dark-colored shoes.

Marple Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have information regarding the identity of the victim to contact Marple detectives at 610-356-1504.
