Police Blotter: Criminal Activity

Underage drinking
On August 12 at 3:15 a.m., an officer pulled up behind a bicyclist who was swerving. The bicyclist turned left onto Malley Street from Second Avenue, jumped off his bike and said "OK, you got me." As the officer approached, he could smell alcohol. The 20-year-old bicyclist had a blood alchol content of .241, was taken home to his parents and given a citation.
Criminal Mischeif
A neighbor reported at 9:36 a.m. on August 3 that the house next door had been "punked." Yellow caution tape and toilet paper were scattered across the law as well as hundreds of plastic spoons, forks and knives. The owners of the home, located on the 200 block of Carriage Lane, were on vacation at the time.
Broken Window
The front, glass window of a home on 14 Clover Lane was reported to be broken at 1:17 p.m. on August 3.
