Police Investigate Home Burglary on Crum Creek Lane

The following information was provided by the Newtown Township Police Department.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–On Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 4:30 p.m., the Newtown Township police were called to investigate a home burglary on the 300 block of Crum Creek Lane.

According to Lt. Chris Lunn, the homeowners reported that they went out for the afternoon and locked the house but did not activate the alarm system.

While the homeowners were out, according to Lunn, some unknown actor(s) forced their way in to the rear door of the home. Once inside the home, the subject(s) ransacked the master bedroom looking for jewelry and other valuables, states Lunn in an email.
