Police Searching For Person of Interest Involved in Sunglasses Theft

The Newtown Township Police Department is seeking help in identifying the woman in the photo who may have more information about a pair of sunglasses that were stolen at TD Bank in Newtown Square.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–The is investigating the theft of a pair of prescription sunglasses, valued at $450, which occurred at the in Newtown Square. 

, the theft occurred earlier this month on Aug. 2 around 10:30 a.m.

Newtown police released the above photo of a woman who was in the bank at the time of the theft.

Police are seeking the public's help identifying the woman in the photo so that they may interview her about any possible information she can provide the police department about the theft, stated Lt. Chris Lunn in a press release.  

According to the release, the woman entered the bank with a small white dog with brown spots, possibly a Jack Russell.
