Police Warn of 'Rock Blasting' in Newtown

A developer is expected to blast rock in the area of Goshen Road and Route 252 next week, Newtown Township Police alerted.

Newtown Township Police alerted residents that rock blasting will be conducted in the Liseter Development along Goshen Road during the week of March 25.

However, the blasting could begin Friday, March 22, according to Newtown Police Chief Christopher Lunn.

Lunn sent an email alert to residents warning that if they hear explosives in the area of Goshen Road and Route 252, police are aware of the work being done.

The Liseter Development—owned by The Rouse Group and built by Toll Brothers—is being developed into luxury homes. The .

The company conducting the blasting, Rock Work Inc., has received all the required permits to do the blasting work, according to Lunn.

Oh boy can't wait for the added traffic! The light they are probably going to put at sawmill rd. And lets not forget SQEEEEEZING 449 homes (and roadway) onto 400 acres...... if you look u may find a couple 200x200 plots not built on yet.......
