Barely any smoke? I would love to know what that person considers a lot of smoke because you could barely see when I was there. And no small fire destroys two HVAC units.

First, thank God no one was hurt. But I wonder how much not quite day old bread and perfecty fine household good were destroyed in the Dollar Store's dumpster. To the managers of the DOllar Store, please at least donate your bread to St. Mark's Food Bank in Broomall instead of dumping it and donate the other items to the Nana's Attic which is right next door.

Leslie, I agree with you! But, I heald a party last Nov. and asked the caterer if he/she could donate the unused food to a homeless shelter. Response: NO PERMITTED BY LAW! CRAZY ISN'T IT???

One of my employees parents takes any left over catering that I have to a church shelter in Chester. I have cooked up extra food just to send to the church shelter and called Phialabundance once when I made an order for the wrong day. People need to open up to the less fourtunate out there. I dont think there is a law not permitting a retaurant to provide healthy food to a shelter.
