State Police Issue 20 Speeding Tickets in I-95 Operation
State Police identified Interstate-95 in Delaware County as a major roadway that experiences traffic crashes and aggressive driving.
MEDIA–The , with the help of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, identified Interstate-95 in Delaware County as a major roadway that experiences traffic crashes and aggressive driving, according to a State Police press release.
Through the use of the Pennsylvania State Police Prophecy Program and Problem Specific Policing, the State Police, used a radar unit and a PennDOT vehicle on March 14 and were able to issue the following citations:
- 20 for speeding
- One for driving while suspended
- One for a non-licensed driver
- Two for lack of seatbelt use
The State Police are committed to using innovated techniques to identify and prosecute those people who choose to violate the motor vehicle code, according to the press release.

State Police encourage everyone to wear seatbelts and drive within the speed limit. Also, remember that during periods of inclement weather, a driver is required to have the vehicle’s headlights (not just daytime running lights) on.
