Commissioners Give OK On 2 New Rose Hill Road Homes

Marple commissioners unanimously approved the preliminary final subdivision plan for Rose Hill Road on Monday night.

BROOMALL–The Marple Township Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the preliminary/final subdivision plan for 27 Rose Hill Road.

The approved plan will allow the existing 54,000 sq. ft. parcel to be subdivided into two new residential building lots, according to the resolution.

The applicant, Michael Seeds of R.H. Lane, LLC, plans to construct two single-family homes on the two vacant parcels, which will measure 24,000 and 36,000 square feet.

In a separate vote, the commissioners unanimously approved the Rose Hill Road applicant's conditional use request to permit a single-family house on each of the R-1 Residential lots to be constructed within areas of steep and very steep slopes, subject to certain restrictions and conditions outlined in the resolution.

Township Solicitor Adam Matlawski said a minimum of four
off-street parking spaces will be required as part of the conditional use.
