UPPER PROVIDENCE–Delaware County residents are invited to the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at in Upper Providence at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Elected officials, clergy, firefighters, law enforcement and emergency medical personnel will attend and speak at the ceremony.
The ceremony, hosted by District Attorney Jack Whelan and Delaware County Council, will take place at the Delaware County Law Enforcement and Fire/EMS Memorial in the park.
A wreath will be placed at the 9/11 Memorial in honor of those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Delaware County's first responders will also be honored with the laying of wreaths for all first responders who gave their lives in the line of duty.
