Approved in Newtown: Dunkin' Donuts, Smoothie King
The Newtown Township Zoning Hearing Board approved applications for both Dunkin' Donuts and Smoothie King to take over the former post office site in Newtown Square.
NEWTOWN SQUARE–The Zoning Hearing Board recently approved a Dunkin' Donuts and Smoothie King to the site of the old post office on 20 North Newtown Street Road in Newtown Square.

Smoothie King and Dunkin' Donuts have been eyeballing the space since mid-June, according to Trio.

The Dunkin' Donuts will face Route 252 while the Smoothie King and the as- yet-undetermined third retail store will face Munger Road. Smoothie King, according to their company website, is a "privately held New Orleans, Louisiana-area based franchise company and is the premier Smoothie Bar and Nutritional Lifestyle Center in the industry."
