Haverford Honors St. Pius X Eagle Scout

Maxx Suchowicki of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 468, St. Pius X Church in Broomall was recognized by Haverford Commissioners at a meeting on July 11.

HAVERFORD–The Haverford Township Board of Commissioners issued a proclamation to St. Pius X patron Maxx Suchowicki at a meeting on July 11.

"... (The commissioners) take great pleasure in acknowledging notable achievements of young adults in the community ... and the Board of Commissioners wish to applaud Maxx Suchowicki of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 468, , Broomall, for earning the rank of Eagle Scout ...," Haverford Third Ward Commissioner Robert E. Trumbull said, as he read the proclamation.

Suchowicki's Eagle Scout Project was creating a metal box to collect no longer used American flags. The American Flag Recovery Box is located in front of the St. Pius X Church's gymnasium.

"... (The) Board of Commissioners hereby acknowledges and congratulates Maxx Suchowicki for your many contributions to your community—with your long hours and dedicated work. Our blessings go with you as you face new challenges," the proclamation read.
