Newtown GOP Offering $1,000 Scholarship to Graduating Senior

Newtown Township's Republican Party is offering high school seniors a chance to receive a $1,000 scholarship award. Deadline is March 28.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Newtown Township's Republican Party is announcing their annual scholarship award program. The scholarship is awarded to one lucky high school senior, who is a resident of Newtown Township, attending private or public school. The chosen senior will receive a $1,000 scholarship award that will go towards their college education.

To apply, Newtown seniors must fill out the questions below and the essay question, and send it back to Gilda Schwalb at gildaschwalb@comcast.net on or before March 28.

  • Essay Question: Which social media would you use and why/how would you reach out to new and young voters? (Note: Please write the essay, typed in double-faced text, of no less than 500 words and no more than 700 words on the question above).
