Newtown Supervisors Reorganize for 2012

Joseph Catania was reelected as Newtown Township Board of Supervisors chairman and Dr. Ross Lambert was reelected as vice chairman at a reorganization meeting on Jan. 3.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Joseph Catania was reelected to serve as 's Board of Supervisor Chairman while Dr. Ross Lambert was also reelected to serve as vice chairman at a reorganization meeting Tuesday night.

"I appreciate the confidence that the supervisor have in me and their vote," shared Catania after the meeting.

Catania also shared his optimism in the new administration. "With the new administration, I really expect the year and job as supervisor to be less cumbersome. Government is going to run more efficiently."

In addition, newly elected supervisors Edward Partridge and John Nawn were sworn in by Judge Leon Hunter III at Tuesday's meeting. Partridge served on the board as . and will fill her seat for the new term while Nawn will fill the seat of Slawter.
