Newtown Township To Get New Website

Supervisors approved the contract to WSI for the new design and development of Newtown Township's website.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Good news for Newtown Township residents–supervisors unanimously approved the contract to develop and for a complete overhaul of the township website at a Board of Supervisors meeting earlier this month.

The contract was awarded to WSI Internet Consultants for $5,000. The contract includes a complete re-design and upgrades for the existing website.

According to Township Manager Mike Trio, a "conservative" timeline for the new website to be completed is within the first quarter.

"There will be no downtime," said Trio about the current website. "If there is, it will be very short-term."

Trio said the township will be utilizing the existing website "as much as we can."

According to WSI's website, WSI is the world’s leading Internet franchise offering digital marketing services to suit the needs of multiple industries. The company has the world’s largest Digital Marketing Consultants’ network with its head office in Toronto, Canada.
