Resignations, Appointments Made on Newtown Zoning Hearing Board

Three resignations and two appointments were announced on Newtown Township's Zoning Hearing Board on Monday night.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Three Zoning Hearing Board resignations and two appointments were announced at Monday night's Newtown Township Board of Supervisors meeting.

David DiPasqua resigned as chairman of the Newtown Township Zoning Hearing Board to become the board's solicitor, according to Supervisors Chairman Joe Catania. DiPasqua's term ends on Dec. 31, 2015.

In addition, Zoning Hearing Board members Anne Stulpin and Richard Carpenter have submitted their resignations which were approved by the supervisors on Monday night.

Stulpin's term ends on Dec. 31, 2013, while Carpenter's term ends on Dec. 31, 2014. Supervisors appointed Michael Russo to fill in Stulpin's vacant seat and Ted Moser to fill in Carpenter's vacant seat.

Supervisors unanimously approved the advertisement for the final vacant seat [DiPasqua] open on the Zoning Hearing Board.
