According to the Delco News Network, the three seats on the Environmental Advisory Board are for three-year terms.
Volunteers are also needed to help fill openings on the Youth Aid Panel–established in 1996 to help neighborhoods deal effectively with first time youth offenders.
According to the township's Youth Aid Panel, a group of community members meet monthly with the youth and his/her family to discuss the offense. In addition, the panels hold the youth accountable for their actions by requiring community service, educational programs, and specific restitution.
