Submit Photos of Local Armed Service Members to the County's Tribute Board

Delaware County families are invited to post service members' photos on the Armed Services Tribute Board at the county's Government Center in Media.

MEDIA–The Delaware County Council is paying tribute to the county’s brave men and women of the armed forces with a Pictorial Tribute Board on display in the Government Center lobby at 201 W. Front Street in Media.

Friends and family members of Delaware County residents who are actively serving in the military are invited to submit photographs for inclusion in the tribute.

The Pictorial Tribute Board is open to any member of the armed services from Delaware County who is actively serving. A soldier, sailor, marine, airman or guardsman does not have to be on the front lines to be contributing to the U.S. military effort and our national safety.

The Public Relations staff requests to be informed when a military member’s service is complete. As part of the Armed Services Tribute initiative, people are invited to support those serving through letters, gift cards, care packages and e-mails. Residents wishing to write to one of the military members honored in the Pictorial Tribute Board can get their military address from the Public Relations Department.
