Trash Collection for Columbus Day
Find out to see any changes to the trash collection schedule for Monday, Oct. 1.
Columbus Day is Monday, Oct. 1, and Newtown Township will be closed that day to recognize the holiday but Marple Township will remain open.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule information for Marple Newtown on Columbus Day:
- Marple Township–Administrative offices will remain open. Municipal trash and recycling will be collected on the normal schedule.
- Newtown Township—Administrative offices will be closed. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler.
