Trash Collection for Fourth of July
Some Marple Newtown Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change during the Fourth of July holiday.
Marple Township's municipal building will be closed July 4 and Newtown Township's municipal building will be closed on July 4 and 5.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over the Fourth of July holiday:
Marple Township—There is no trash collection on Thursday. Residents with a Thursday collection will have their trash picked up on the next regular collection day.

Newtown Township–Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private collector. Recycling pick up, normally scheduled for Thursday, will instead be collected on Friday, July 5.
