Video: County Holds Moment of Silence For Sandy Hook Victims

Delaware County Council led a countywide moment of silence earlier this week in remembrance of the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School.

MEDIA–A moment of silence was held throughout Delaware County on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in front of the county courthouse in remembrance of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

County Council Chairman Tom McGarrigle led the moment of silence on Wednesday morning.

"There are no words that can help any of us understand the horrific and senseless lost of life on that tragic day," said McGarrigle. "But we can come together as a community to reflect on live's lost to honor our nation's teachers and emergency responders, and to support each other."
