Where To Vote For Tuesday's Primary Elections

Here's a map of voting locations for Marple and Newtown residents.

The polls will be open for the casting of ballots from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 24 for Primary Election Day. Should you be in line at 8 p.m. waiting to vote, the county assures that you will still be permitted to vote. But if you get in line once the polls have closed, voters will not be permitted to vote and will be strictly enforced.

The . They will not include absentee ballots, provisional ballots or write-in votes. Results generally begin posting after 9 p.m. To get to the results, go to the county's website at www.co.delaware.pa.us and click on "Election 2012."

If you're voting in a new ward or precinct, even if you've voted in a different district or precinct previously, you will be considered a new voter. New voters must present a photo ID or an acceptable non-photo ID, which may include a Delaware County voter registration card, bank statement, utility bill, firearm permit, paycheck or government check.
