Last Minute Holiday Shopping That Benefits Local Seniors

The holidays are a time of giving. By shopping or donating items at the Surrey Thrift Store in Broomall, you have an opportunity to give to the seniors in our community.

Are you looking for some last minute holiday gifts? Would you like to benefit local seniors while you shop? Then visit the in Broomall.

The store is located at 455 Park Way in Broomall, a few blocks from the or . On the video at the right, I interview one of the founders of the store, Ria Bloschek.

She and Helen Hurst have been with the store since it's founding in 2007, and still help run it today. As Ria states in her interview, you can find anything and everything in the store.

The store, part of the Surrey Services network, is also run by seniors and the staff maintains a small bulletin board listing senior activities and senior resources. You can contact them at 610-544-1460 for more information.
