2 PHMS Students Spearhead Candy For Troops Drive

Paxon Hollow Middle School students collect 80 pounds of candy to send to troops overseas.

BROOMALL–Two Paxon Hollow Middle School sixth-grade students, Kayleigh Cristello and Emma Pierucci, approached their teacher Kim Reardon the day after Halloween with an idea.

They wanted to collect candy for the troops. They gathered information on where they could send it, they made signs, and went to classrooms to promote the idea and to collect the candy. They helped package the candy as well. They collected 80 pounds of candy.
