A 'Scrooge' Moment at Episcopal Academy

Episcopal Academy students and staff performed a special rendition presentation of 'A Christmas Carol' at a recent Chapel Talk on Dec. 13.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Ebeneezer Scrooge was present at 's recent Chapel Talk on Dec. 13. Students and staff performed an interpretive presentation of the classic Charles Dickens' Christmas story, A Christmas Carol, as well as Joy to the World.

Chapel Talk is a 30-minute, modified Episcopalian service, that takes place once every six days for Lower School students, and every other day for Middle and Upper School students. These services are highlighted by guest speakers, including alumni, dignitaries, and students, who give a "Chapel Talk."

These presentations revolve around Episcopal's Chapel Theme, which is "Be the change you want to see in the world" for the 2011-12 school year, and provide the foundation of Episcopal's character education program.
