Broomall Teen Wins National Merit Scholarship
The Marple Newtown High School senior will receive a $2,500 scholarship.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced this year’s National Merit Scholarship winners.
The 2,500 Merit Scholar designees were chosen from more than 15,000 outstanding finalists in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Marple Newtown High School senior Sabrina Pan was awarded with a $2,500 National Merit Scholarship honor.

Pan, of Broomall, will attend Cornell University in the fall.
Along with Pan, Marple Newtown senior Ian Callahan also made it to the finalist round.
