Culbertson Turns Yellow, Walks For Juvenile Diabetes

Culbertson Elementary School wore yellow in the spirit of giving back and walked for the Juvnile Diabetes Research Foundation on Friday, May 18.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Donned in yellow, students, teachers and staff walked for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation last Friday–the day designated at as "Yellow Day."

"Yellow Day" is a Culbertson tradition that embraces the theme of “giving." Just as they had done in the fall, the school walked a mile for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Earlier this year, Culbertson students and families raised over $3,100 to find a cure for juvenile diabetes. During the spring walk, parents and students dropped a dollar at the door for a cure.
