NEWTOWN SQUARE–Episcopal Academy Cellists Jameson Achuff '13, Jake Aronchick '13, and Eunice Ju '15 were selected to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Region VI Orchestra Festival that will take place on February 21-23, 2013.

Achuff, Aronchick and Ju each successfully completed a rigorous re-audition process on January 10 at the District Festival. Region VI is comprised of high-caliber student musicians from Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Bucks, Berks, and Montgomery counties.

“This is an unprecedented showing for EA, as our students will make up a quarter of the entire cello section at the Regional Festival,” says Katie Bechtold, Director of Orchestras at The Episcopal Academy.
