EA Students Go Out West For The Arts

NEWTOWN SQUARE–In October, Episcopal Academy students traveled to Big Timber, Montana, to participate in the Big Timber Arts Round-Up, a gathering of students actively interested in creative writing, photography, drama, and the visual arts.

Traveling west with students from Haverford School, Agnes Irwin School, Baldwin School, and Boys Latin, the group met up with a cohort of Montanan high school students with whom they shared the four-day experience.

Once in Montana, the students participated in workshops in their chosen discipline and learned from professionals in each field. At the end of the trip, students presented their writing, photographs, scenes, or art to one another and to their teachers in a culminating festival.
