The Churchmen dropped a 12-3 decision to Penn Charter on Friday afternoon, falling to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the Inter-Academic League.

“It is a freak thing where it’s week to week for us, and the frustrating thing is that Adam is a junior and could use this time to be a more developed quarterback,” Fairlie said. “This situation has hurt our best quarterback, Adam, and taken away our best receiver, Ian."

Now that both Strain and Strouss are back in their designated positions, Fairlie is hopeful to get back to developing each's potential in those roles.

"Adam is developing as a quarterback and I’m personally thankful that both Ian and Adam are both back," said Fairlie. "It's nice to see them work together now–we’re still optimistic to get Adam back.”

One shining point for the Churchmen has been the kicking of junior Quinn Hager. His 25-yard field goal represented the only points Episcopal scored against Penn Charter and his booming punts, which he averages 45, often sets back opponents in field position.

The Churchmen will be away this week, facing Chestnut Hill Academy on Friday.
