Marple Newtown Patch will keep you updated on school closings and event cancellations. Some schools have already announced closures for both Monday, Oct. 29, and Tuesday, Oct. 30.

As we learn about school closings and cancellations, we will post them here for you. Bookmark this page and check back often.

The following is a list of schools that have announced closings:

  • Marple Newtown School District–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Delaware County Intermediate Unit–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Garrett's Way–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • St. Anastasia School–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • St. Pius X School–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Delaware County Community College–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Episcopal Academy–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Springton Lake Montessori School–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Chesterbrook Academy–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Newtown Square Presbyterian Church Nursery School–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • K'tonton School For Young Children–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Kaplan Career Institute (Day and Night)–Closed Monday and Tuesday
  • Delaware County Christian School–Closed Monday and Tuesday

The following is a list of schools that have announced cancellations for events:

  • Cub Scout Pack 151's Halloween Party scheduled for Monday night has been canceled.
  • Suburban Seahawks Club–No lap swimming Monday, no practices Monday night, no practices Tuesday morning. Follow-up email will be sent  from the swim club about Tuesday night practices.
