Interact Club Sends Shoe Boxes of Presents For Children Around the World

Numerous shoe boxes were sent off to 'Operation Christmas Child' by the Marple Newtown High School Interact Club.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–The Marple Newtown High School Interact Club sent many shoe boxes off to ‘Operation Christmas Child.' The boxes were filled to the top with all sorts of presents for the boys and girls around the world.

The "shoe box" collection was started by Marple Newtown alumni Jason Stussy and his mother, Barb, who continues to work with the high school every year to organize and deliver the boxes to the Samaritan's Purse.

Administration, faculty and students also donated food to prepare Thanksgiving dinner baskets to Marple Newtown families. The boxes were overflowing with goodies for Thanksgiving and more.
