Local Residents Named to Spring 2012 Dean's List

 and  residents were recently named on their college's Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester. Dean's List students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4-point scale and attempted at least 12 credits of course work.

Local students attending SUNY Cortland, Delaware Valley College, Grove City College, Wake Forest University, Loyola University Maryland, Geneva College, Rider University, Providence College, and LaSalle University were recognized for their achievements.

Those students included:

Emily MacCart- A resident of Newtown Square, MacCart currently attends SUNY Cortland in Cortland, N.Y. The junior is a fitness development major.

Samantha Conolly- A resident of Broomall, Conolly currently attends Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pa. 

Victoria Morra- A resident of Newtown Square, Morra currently attends Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. The sophomore business management major was named to the Dean's List with Distinction (GPA of 3.60-3.84).

Kaitlin Brennan- A resident of Newtown Square, Brennan currently attends Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. 

Nicole Sullivan- A resident of Newtown Square, Sullivan currently attends Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. 

Adrienne Ashton- A resident of Newtown Square, Ashton currently attends Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and will be a junior next fall. 

Angela DelConte- A resident of Broomall, DelConte currently attends Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and will be a junior next fall. 

Brendan Fulmer- A resident of Broomall, Fulmer currently attends Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and will be a junior next fall. 

Brian Lojewski- A resident of Broomall, Lojewski currently attends Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and will be a junior next fall. 

Jeffrey Kirkwood- A resident of Newtown Square, Kirkwood currently attends Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa. The senior is an accounting major . 

John Ahem- A resident of Newtown Square, Ahem currently attends Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J., and majors in radio and television. 

Jordan Hall- A resident of Broomall, Hall currently attends Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J., and majors in journalism. 

Shannon Kane- A resident of Newtown Square, Kane currently attends Providence College in Providence, R.I., and will be a sophomore next fall. 

Rebecca Nagel- A resident of Broomall, Nagel currently attends Providence College in Providence, R.I., and will be a senior next fall. 

Samuel A. Pickard- A resident of Broomall, Pickard currently attends LaSalle University in Philadelphia. The senior is in the Honors Program.
