Loomis Donates Pajamas, Books, and More to Sandy Victims

Loomis Elementary School held their fifth annual pajama drive recently, in which donations went towards Hurricane Sandy victims this year.

BROOMALL–Loomis Elementary School their their 5th annual pajama drive for the Pajama Program, which delivers warm sleepwear and nurturing books to children in need.

The school collected 321 pairs of pajamas, 440 books, and $1,050 to donate to Hurricane Sandy victims along with numerous items. In addition, Barnes & Noble donated many books, Mel's Pharmacy donated $100 and Joe’s Pizza teamed up with the school for their pajama party kick-off party.  

The children and staff wore their favorite pajamas to school and all the newly donated pajamas and books were on display in the cafeteria.
