Marple Newtown Marching Band Continues to Place First

Marple Newtown High School Tiger Band competed in another Cavalcade of Bands Competition, placing first again.

The Tiger Marching Band recently competed in the Unionville High School's Cavalcade of Bands Competition on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Tiger Band came in first place again out of six bands in the Liberty Division, earning a score of 84.15 out of 100. The Tiger Band performed their field show "Fast Track,"  music by Frank Sullivan and drill by Todd Marcocci. The earlier this month.

The Tiger Band is busy preparing for their on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. at Marple Newtown High School's Harry Harvey Field. Nine bands will be competing that evening. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Come out and show your support for the Tiger Band.
