Teaching History:

I am a graduate of St. Joseph's University with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught second grade at St. Cyril and Our Lady of Fatima schools.
This is my fourth year teaching first grade at St. Pius X School in Broomall and I love it!

What do you like most about your job?

I love spending my day with the wonderful first graders. They are so much fun and enthusiastic to learn. I enjoy working with all of the teachers, parents and staff at St. Pius X. They are supportive and care about one another.

Why did you become a teacher?

When I was little, I would play school all the time with my sister and our friends. We  would pretend we were the teachers with classrooms full of children; someone would even play the principal. When I grew up, teaching was the only thing I wanted to do and I am so glad that I did. It is such a rewarding job. It challenges you to be creative and to try new things. Every day is different.

What do you like best about your current school (projects, programs or activities that your school is a part of):

St. Pius X School is full of spirit. Besides first-rate academics, our school offers so may clubs, service opportunities, sports and fine arts programs that it is hard to pick the best.

I love music, so seeing the students participate in the choir and cantering at First Friday Mass is wonderful. Also, the annual talent show is a great night to see the students shine. No matter what event you go to, the St. Pius X spirit is amazing!
