Prom Proposal Delivered at Spring Concert

A Marple Newtown High School senior surprised his girlfriend during the school's Spring Band/Choir Concert.

The creativity of prom proposals continue for Marple Newtown High School students.

With flowers in hand, senior Vincent Raspa popped the prom question to his girlfriend senior Bianca Mesoraca at the school's Spring Band/Choir Concert on Tuesday, along with the accompaniment of his friends and fellow choir members.

Raspa created his own lyrics to the song "Marry You" by Bruno Mars, and asked his girlfriend of six months to Prom.

The couple are both in the school's choir and the acapella group, The Marple Newtones.

Jessica Raspa, Vincent's sister who filmed the Prom proposal, says her brother had been planning the big event for more than a month.

"He wanted to do something big and memorable and different," Jessica Raspa said. "Something that she would have no idea about so that he could completely surprise her."

Mesoraca, of course, said yes.
