MNHS Juniors, Seniors Tie In Overtime Powder Puff Game

$800 was raised at the Marple Newtown High School 2012 Powder Puff game for breast cancer research.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Marple Newtown High School Powder Puff 2012 was a great success. The freshmen team squeaked by the sophomore team by one touchdown late in the game. It was a great showing by both teams.

The junior and senior game went into four overtimes and late into the night when it was called due to exhausted referees and frozen players. There is talk of a rematch in the spring. According to the school, $800 was raised in one day to benefit breast cancer research.
