MNHS Students Qualify for Future Business Leadership State Conference

Five students from Marple Newtown High School will be going to Hershey, PA, for the Future Business Leadership State Conference in April.

NEWTOWN SQUARE– students recently received awards at the Future Business Leaders of America–Regional Leadership Conference at Penncrest High School.

According to the school, the students studied of their own accord and competed against schools in the region's Central League schools, which has membership totals in the hundreds.

Five Marple Newtown students have qualified for the Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference in Hershey, from April 16-18, 2012, of which there are over 13,500 members in Pennsylvania alone.

Going to states is Jeanette Ding for Business Calculations, Rebecca Lin for Business Calculations, Wesley Wasserman for Computer Problem Solving, Sohyeon Park for Hospitality Management, and Jessica Rinaldi for Sports Management.

Also placing but not qualifying for States are Soo Min Kim, Lisa Kim and Reshma George who placed fourth in the team event for Global Business.
