MTV Featured Musician Jared Campbell Performs Positive Life Lessons At PHMS

Singer/songwriter Jared Campbell performed at a special concert as part of The Blue Project at Paxon Hollow Middle School on Monday, May 21.

BROOMALL– students received a special treat on Monday morning with a special concert performed by singer/songwriter Jared Campbell as part of The Blue Project.

The Blue Project is a series of live concerts performed each year for middle school, high school or college students using Campbell's songs and the messages behind them to help young people stay on the right path in life by making positive choices along the way. According to The Blue Project:

Young peopie have walked away with life changing experiences such as finding their true passion in life, appreciating others around them and ceasing to bully those that are different, stopping their attempts at suicide and forming life lasting relationships with the friends and family surrounding them.

Campbell is an upstate New York native and an independent musician who has opened for big name artists such as Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, Collective Soul, Hootie & the Blowfish, and Journey. 

"My main focus has been allowing my music to impact the lives of listeners by experiencing joy, finding comfort through pain, and looking past obstacles toward living a better life," states Campbell on The Blue Project website.

aslo teamed up with Campbell to create a song for the Benari for Better campaign called "It's Just Better." According to The Blue Project, "this song is about a young coup|e’s relationship through different phases of life, is a catchy, acoustic tune that is now a central part of the store's ongoing advertising campaign, currently on radio and broadcast television."

As part of giving back to their local community, Benari Jewelers decided to sponsor and support Campbell’s work with The Blue  Project to help guide the youth through everyday challenges.
