The donation will go towards the Tiger Foundation's mission to "foster educational, technical and cultural opportunities that will enhance excellence in public education in the Marple Newtown School District."
According to Panera Bread's press release, the Tiger Foundation was a 2010 Operation Dough-Nation partner with Panera Bread’s in Broomall, which is a program that allows Panera Bread customers to make donations in Community Breadbox™ containers near the cash registers in the cafe.
“The Community Breadbox program offers Panera Bread customers the opportunity to donate to important causes in the region while they are visiting our bakery-cafes,” said Tammy Dwyer, director of marketing at Panera Bread. “The monies feed directly back into the communities around our cafes; we are proud to support The Tiger Foundation’s mission.”
