PHMS French Teacher Recipient of Professional Development Stipend

Paxon Hollow Middle School Teacher, Kerri Ann Confora, was recently named the recipient of the 2012 American Association of Teachers of French Professional Development Stipend.

BROOMALL– Teacher, Kerri Ann Confora, was recently named the recipient of the 2012 American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) Professional Development Stipend, established by the Philadelphia chapter of the AATF to encourage new teachers of French to become active members in the AATF and to continue self-improvement by
attending professional conferences.

“We were indeed impressed by Ms. Confora’s many and varied accomplishments, dedication to her school, students, and colleagues, and her enthusiasm and creativity in seeking new ways to impart her knowledge and love of the French language and culture to her students”, said Rita Davis and Susie Ledieu, co-presidents of AATF. “On behalf of all those who will continue to thrive under your tutelage, we extend our heartiest congratulations. Félicitations!”

Confora’s achievements were recognized at the annual Distribution des Prix ceremony at Chestnut Hill College in May.
