Photos: Murals of Paxon Hollow Middle School

Check out the handful of murals displayed on the walls of Paxon Hollow Middle School.

BROOMALL–'s Art Club hosted a guided mural tour last week. Did you know there are more murals than you can count on one hand at the school?

Three seventh-grade students–Leigh Delaney, Isabella Paganezza, and Elizabeth Rains gave the private art tour. Each mural is created and painted by students at Paxon Hollow Middle School that date as far back as the late 1990s to 2011.

Paganezza shared she liked all the murals "because all our murals have a different meaning." But if she had to choose, her favorite would be the six pillars of character mural, the most recent mural.

But Rains liked the oldest mural the best, which is the whale mural dated back to 1998. Leigh, who is also in the choir and orchestra, also noted she liked the music stand mural in the music hallway because "it gives us something to look at."
