St. Anastasia Honors MLK With Day of Service

Members of the St. Anastasia school and parish came together on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 16, for a day of service.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–On Martin Luther King Day, students volunteered together on their day off from school for a day of service.

The students made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cards for St. John's Hospice. In addition, they sewed pillow cases and put together quilts for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Other parish activities included playing bingo at Broomall Rehab and serving meals to Mother of Sorrows Soup Kitchen in Philadelphia.
