St. Pius Girls Take 1st Place Trophy at Penn Relays
The senior girls CYO 4x100 relay team recently took home first place in the Penn Relays.
BROOMALL–The senior girls of the CYO 4x100 relay team at St. Pius X School came in first place in the championship race of the Philadelphia Archdiocese at the Penn Relays this year.
The members of the relay team include Julia Lemme, Gina Amoroso, Colleen Kearney and Caitlyn Clark.
This marks the first time that a senior girls team from St. Pius has ever brought home the coveted University of Pennsylvania Championship plaque.

In addition, last Friday, the junior boys (Owen Hinkley, Lucas McGrann, Jimmy Yocum and Chris Kirby) placed fourth, while the senior boys (, David Bowdler, John Osborne and Luke Civardelli) placed fifth.
