Three New Student Clubs Approved at MNSD

The Marple Newtown Schol Board approved two new student clubs at Marple Newtown High School and one student club at Paxon Hollow Middle School.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Some good news comes to the students at Marple Newtown High School and Paxon Hollow Middle School with the expansion of its student clubs/activities.

The Marple Newtown School Board unanimously approved the following student activities/clubs to offer its students at the respective schools listed:

  • Paxon Press Club at Paxon Hollow Middle School – The purpose of the club is to provide a venue for Paxon Hollow students to showcase their journalist abilities and to have their voices heard. The club advisors are Dorie Martin, Jennifer Null, and Michelle McAlea.
  • Student Support Club at Marple Newtown High School – The purpose of this club is to help students and families who are experiencing some sort of financial hardship. The club advisors are Jen Cipollone and Tracy Jacobson.
  • MNHS Robotics Club at Marple Newtown High School – The purpose of this club is to help shape students' minds towards engineering and robotics. The club advisor is Don Sloat.
