Tigers' Running Back To Play in All Star East-West Game

Cimirrow Moat, of Marple Newtown High School, will be among the group of top high school football players playing in this year's Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association's East-West All Star Game on Sunday, May 6, in Monroeville.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–'s star running back is one of the players chosen to play in the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association's (PSFCA) East-West All Star Game on Sunday in Monroeville, PA.

The game will begin at 2 p.m. at Gateway High School in Monroeville, just outside of Pittsburgh. PSFCA East-West All Star Game was conceived giving the honor to play in a statewide, prestigious all star game to 68 more players, according to EasternPAFootball.com.

Each year since 2001, the East-West All Star game had been an annual occurrence until 2011 when it was derailed by sponsorship and other issues, reports Philly.com. Since its inception, the East team has been undefeated against the West.

According to EasterPAFootball.com, the PSFCA expects it to be played annually again with it alternating to each side of the state. In 2013, the game is expected to be played in Downingtown. The game is sponsored by and benefits the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania.
