When's The First Day of School For Marple Newtown?

Don't tell the kids, but summer is more than half over. So make sure you pencil in these back-to-school dates.
Students in the Marple Newtown School District head back to school on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
All six schools in the MNSD begin on this date. But don't worry there is a holiday the same week and students are off again. Marple Newtown High School students are off on Sept. 5 and 6 however, the middle school and elementary schools are off on Sept. 5.

Below are some other important dates to keep in mind.
- Paxon Hollow Middle School sixth-grade orientation: Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Freshman and new student orientation: Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 8 to 10 a.m.
- Back-to-school night for MNHS: Back-to-school night for high school parents will be on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m
