On Tuesday, students wrote a poem about their teacher. The staff was greeted with a "Walk of Stars" as they arrived at a luncheon of homemade meals donated by our families. All staff names were listed on the stars which were placed on the ground outside the room where their lunch was being served. The parents also presented each teacher with a little trophy or "Oscar" and decorated the staff lounge with gold and black balloons and decor to make it festive.

On Wednesday, the PTO gave the teachers baskets and the students were asked to bring in a piece of fruit for their teachers. Teachers received a "Making a Difference" bookmark and pen set as a keepsake.
